colt coral ?'n

i have had my colt coral for a couple of weeks now. i had assumed that these guys "stood up" mine seems to keep "laying down" is this normal?
also do these guys split or do they need to be fragged?

hmm i had one for a long time. it did not split . i have found it to be a big calcium hog. so watch your levels. mine leand over sometimes. but mostly stood up

I've had mine a couple months also and it stands up most of the time. When the lights are off it kinda shrinks up a bit but for the most part it is open. I have heard that they need a little cooler water and I have noticed that if my water temp gets any over 80 it looks a little down. Not sure if that is correct or if I'm just crazy.

I've had mine a week now, and I swear it's grown by 1/4th. My tank runs between 78 and 82 deg.

The colt shouldn't be laying down. You can frag it or it will also split it does take a while for it to completly split though. I started out with one large colt now I have 6.

i will try and post a pic tomorrow, we moved it today, compared to a xenia it looks like it wants to split, so maybe that is the problem :notsure:
