Colt Coral ?

I have a red colt coral, and for some reason it has started to become limpy. It is in a 225 gallon tank with canister filters that have spray bars on each end. Does anyone know what the problem could be? If needed I will provide more info. I am feeding Kent masrine Phytoplankton..and was told that the coral didn't need anything else. Of course I add calcium, essential elements, strontium & Molybedenum, iodide.

about 2 weeks, at first I put it on a rock that had a hole, and it fell in. So I moved it to a rock that had no hole on Weds. Of course when I moved it it shriveled, but then it seemed to be perking up until yesterday. My ph was a little low, and I added PH 8.2 this morning. I don't know if that would make it get shriveled or not.

i'd give it a few days and see how things go. if it doesn't start looking better in a week or so, start checking it to see if it's melting.

Melting???? So I shouldn't do anything. What about food? Are the chemicals I'm putting in the tank sufficient? I have a colt in another tank, which is receiving the same chemicals, and it is doing great.

i would wait it out. don't over-dose your tank with the chemicals. if you can post a pic, that would be great. is your other colt a red one also? it might just be stressed out from getting moved around and what not. as far as melting, i fragged one of mine and for awhile they were doing great, but then they shriveled and next thing they started to "melt" from where i cut them. I'm pretty sure i screwed up somewhere. not saying that it might have some sort of infection, but just sharing what happened with mine. good luck

Thanks for your help, I will just try to be patient...I just want to be sure i am doing things right, and giving it what it needs. I'll just leave it alone.
