Colt is slightly touching my Clam

I'm wondering is this going to have any effect on my Clam. What Should I do, I'm pretty sure the clam might have attached itself. I've never trimmed my Colt so that might be an option if need be. If that is the option how should I do it?? Thanks

Just watch the clam. The colt can't actually sting the clam, but it may annoy it to the point of it not opening. If the clam starts to close up, or retract part of it's clam, then maybe you could trim the colt. Do a search on the board, there are lots of good posts about fragging colts.

Yea I noticed that it flinches every now and then when the colt touches it. I think I will have to frag

i would have to think that colts have the mildest stings of any coral i know.... when my colt brushes into any other coral hes the loser ive never seen mine actually hurt another coral but might be different for a clam....
my colt has gotten huge too i need to do some fraggin as soon as i get back from vacation later next week
