Combo bulb question

I found this replacement bulb for my eclipes 12. Its a Power Compact Bulb 13 Watt Combo Blue/10000K Daylight. I was just wondering if anyone has used anything like this and is it worth getting. I know its not really strong but i was wondering if it would be strong enough for any type of Anemone or anything else?
Heres the link

Are you going to replace the hardware on you eclipse system? I thought that those typically come with standard fluorescent lighting. A PC bulb will not plug into a regular fluorescent socket.

The 3 and 6 come with the standard fluorescent but the 12 comes with a 2 pin power compact bulb. I wish the 12 came with a standard fluorescent. It would make things alot easier. :)

Oh, good to know that the eclipse 12 comes with a PC. Is the 13W the only option you have? That seems a bit low, in my opinion, for an anemone. That would only give you about 1 watt per gallon. I've always been told by my LFS, who is very knowledgeable and I completely trust, that you need at least 3 watts per gallon.

well it came with a 13watt light and im not sure what the hood can hold. I did find a 26 watt light but its a just a normal PC not a 50/50 or anything. I also dont know how it would work in the stock fixture.

The reason i was thinking the 50/50 13 watt is b/c i know it will fit and work in the stock fixture and i wont have to spen alot of money on a retrofit replacement.

Not sure if you could use a different wattage (if anyone else wants to chime in) but I would probably stick with the 13W that came with it.

I have the 50/50 light you are thinking of using in my eclipse 12, it came with my setup which is about a month and a half old, it seems to do well for my corals, though I have been leary of adding an anenonme because of the low wattage. I have looked for stronger ones to no avail yet.
