Compact 2-part dosing system

Just wanted to share with you guys my new 2-part dosing system. I had very little room to work with and after a bunch of thinking, finally decided to get something to help with all the dosing and help stabilize my parameters even more. Also, with the supplements I am dosing, this will make things easier.
I ordered a pair of peristaltic (sp?) dosing pumps from bulk reef supply and made my own 2-part solution. So I can now auto-dose my calcium and alkalinity. I also made the gallon of magnesium which I will hand dose.
I didnt have much room, otherwise I would have gotten a calc reactor. But with the small dosing pumps and the "space saving" jugs, I was able to setup a system that used very little space. These jugs are awesome, only 2.5" wide. Just drilled a hole in the cap and ran the tubing through the cap to the bottom of the jug.
I used double sided tape for the pumps. They are now running on the timer function of my Reefkeeper 2 controller, but cheap digital timers from home depot will work too. No more hand dosing!!

I definitely recommend bulk reef supply for their products and service.

Nice setup gator. I have thought about dosing pumps but right now I am still dosing manually. Where did you get the skinny jugs? Those might just be the ticket to try and hide everything in my stand.

well I'm sold on the pumps and containers! now the question is do I wait for the reef keeper lite or get the reef keeper 2? I really dont need any extra functioning of the new model and I like the channel indicator and display on the RK2 much better.

Thanks guys. The skinny jugs came from the same site as the pumps and the 2-part dry chemicals that I mixed - bulk reef supply.

I agree the RK2 controller is very easy to use and I am constantly tweaking it. But the RK Lite sounds real nice and I'm sure that the interface has to be easy to use. You cant go wrong with either. He's a pic of my setup with an American DJ Powercenter connected to one channel of the RK2.

Thanks Ifirefight. I think I remember seeing your thread and it probably helped convince me the pumps were good. Each pumps seems to vary from the other. So I will test every day for the first week or so and adjust the timing based on the test results. I can tell one is faster than the other.
