O.K., Following the advice of Rye and others,I went and purchased a Canon G3. It should arrive next week. It comes with just a 32mb card. I'll be purchasing more of course. What is the difference between Type 1 and Type II? Thanks in advance.

Don't know. I just bought a card from Rye. A 256MB card. I like it alot. It is made by SynDisk and is what he recommended...
