compatibility question

I have a 75 gal reef tank that had a royal gamma, yellow tang and 3 green chromis in it. I just inherited a blue hippo more green chromis and a 6 line wrasse from the same home that had to give up the yellow tang and green chromis originally and put them in a week and a half ago. I noticed today that the 6 line wrasse is chasing the royal gamma and causing him to go into hiding. I feel bad because he used to swim all around and look so pretty. Will this chasing stop? I thought they were supposed to be compatible. The 6 line is bigger than the royal. Does that matter? Any help is great. I just feel so bad. :(

Six lines can be very aggressive. I would try to find another home for it. I doubt it will stop before the Gramma is dead. Sorry!

If this posts twice, sorry. Any ideas on how to capture the 6 line? I have A LOT of rock, near if not more than 100 lbs and like it just this way. I don't want to knock any down but... Also how long are we talking for the royal, I thought if they were spooked, they find their "cave" and hide for a while.

You could get a soda bottle. Cut it about 1/3 the way down and invert the top into the bottom. drop some food in there and put it in your tank. Fish will swim in to get food, but can't figure out how to swim out. Only problem is, you will probably keep catching the wrong fish!

I have a six line wrasse and a royal gamma and haven't had any problems. Have you tried rearranging your decor? I rearrange my LR everytime I introduce a new fish in my tank. My 6-line wrasse has never went after any of my fish. I have blue tang, yellow, tang, 2 clowns, 5 blue-green chromis's, 6 line wrasse, royal gamma, firefish.
