Compatible Fish

Hi, I am going to get a maroon clownfish when my tank is done cycleing and all. And I want to know what kind of fish go well with the goldstripe, is colorful, hardy, and can fit in the 29 gallon without being cramped.

I have a single maroon in my tank as well, as long as you don't add another clown or damsel (same family) you should be ok. they can be very aggresive towards their own, but mine is fine with the others. check my sig for what I have. The neon dottyback is colorful and active, one of my favorites.

He could be quite aggressive toward any newcomer if he is already established. Hawkfishes (fowlr), small wrasses, gobies, blennies, etc. should all do well. Bo

what about a Bicolor Pseudochromis

If you add a bicolor now, you probably won't be able to add any more fish. Some have also had problems with pseudo's and inverts. HTH. Bo

o ok thanks. So steer clear of the pseudo. you gave me some fish to look at but those groups are pretty vague. Can you be a little more specific on some precise fish.
