This is my baby—a 135 gallon saltwater aquarium which has been running in this setup about 5 years. I currently work in San Francisco and no longer have time to care for the aquarium. I am looking to sell it to a responsible person willing to dedicate the time and energy required. I am asking for $1,000 (firm). I have spent around $3,500 setting-up this tank so buying a healthy established reef community for a fraction of the price of is a heck of a bargain. Everything is in working order and there are no hidden quirks or problems. I can help you if you need help with the relocation. I will also try to get some pictures of the tank. Here is what the winning bidder gets for their money:
• 135 Gallon Aquarium w/ build-in overflow/wet-dry filter, located in back left corner (72X24X18)
• 20 gallon sump with built-in wet-dry filter
• Black pine stand and canopy
• Total 630 Watt Canopy Retrofit
o 2 - 175 watt, 10,000k, Hamilton Metal Halide bulbs running on IceCap ballast (1 year old) and Advance ballast.
o 2 – 140 watt, 60 inch IceCap VHO bulbs running on an IceCap 430 ballast (1 year old)
• 150-175 Pound of Walt Smith Fiji live rock (paid $600 for rock--there is actually this amount of rock in the tank. It is spread across bottom of tank in photo, rather than in the typical fruit stand organization.)
• Red Sea Berlin Venturi Protein Skimmer
• Pro Heat 2 Digital Titanium heater/thermometer
• Refractometer
• 15 watt Aquanetics UV sterilizer
• 1 – 1,000 Maxi-Jet Power Head
• 2 – 400 Maxi-Jet Power Heads
• 1 - Mag-Drive 9.5 pump running the tank circulation
• Kent Marine Hi-S Maxxima 35 GPD RO/DI system w/ Inline Dual TDS Meter which measures the water output quality
• 5 gallon Kent Marine AquaDose—Aquarium Dosing System
• Every test kit needed: nitrate, nitrite, ammonia, cal, strontium, etc; all additives required; all mechanical filters and carbon.
• 12 - 5 gal water jugs
• Corals:
o 2 colonies of green star polyps
o 2 – 6 inch Rose Anemone
o 1 – 4 inch Green Bubble Tip Anemone
o 1 – 3 inch frogspawn head
o 3 – 2 inch cabbage leather corals
o 15 – 3-6 inch Colt corals
o 1 – 5 inch button coral rock
o 2 red and green mushroom corals rocks
• Fish:
