don’t believe it, don’t waste your money that way man! $99 and then shipping?? i mean lets try to analize this 'rock growing kit'. what can it be, calcium, some buffering agent to rise PH and that’s likely it! I mean coralline algae doesn’t need much more than that, so instead buy some supplements for that money and at least you'll know what you're adding and how much. just my opinion.

How much does it weigh? It seems for 100 bucks if you shop around you can get between 30-45 pounds on live rock. They have an increadible deal right know at fishsupply.com, I have not heard anything about their rock though. I have though heard nothing but great reviews about saltwaterfish.com's stock

I followed their instructional section on making your own rock. Its real easy, and you can make some cool shapes with caves and whatever you can dream up.

i've been dealing with garf for years. i wish everybody would start doing what they are doing!! thats what got me into propogating corals, and selling them to the stores as weel as other reefers!! we should all try to save the reefs of the world. somtimes it makes me sick to see these poor animals pulled out of their home and put into some under-educated persons tank! then they say,"oh well, if it dies i'll get another one!" thats sad!! we should all support captive raise animals, wether it be corals, fish, and yes live rock!! i'm acctualy looking into making rock to make my coral farming business even better! hopfully when taking corals from the wild becomes illegal, people will understand how important it is to only have captive creatures!! maybe we should all hope it happens sooner though!

one more thing to add, i'm proud to say that almost all of my corals are TANK RAISED BY MYSELF! i am VERY PROUD OF THAT! my rocks aren't, but, when my 180 gallon reef gets on its way, i guarentee that EVERYTHING will be TANK RAISED including the live rock! ;)
