To be honest, i think that with a softie tank and fish only, you are wasting a lot of money with a CA reactor and ozone. No need for either one in that situation IMO.

Calcium reactors and Kalk are more for stony corals - sps - lps, these types of corals need elevated levels of Calcium to sustain growth.
A tank which is filled with softies and fish does not require as much calcium and so the equipment is not needed.

Ozone you might see a benefit from water clarity......Ozone though will also cut back on what you'll see as far as skimmate......You won't have as much skimmate and will possibly be lighter in color......The ozone will be burning off some of the impurities your skimmer is removing.

One note to be researched. I was looking into getting an ozonizer for a mixed reef andread somewhere that the ozonizer would slow growth or even be detrimental to softies. They feed off of particles in the water column that the ozonizer will eradicate. Would just be something to look into and could save a big waste of money on your part. Wish I could remember where I saw that.

Doubt the evidence is conclusive, just as running a UV would in some peoples opinion erradicate everything good........It's used to removed DOC, and wouldn't be detrimental......I've run ozone for over 4 years on a 150 with nothing but softies and had no issues.........IMO there are alot of bogus misinformation out there about stuff by people who haven't spent enought time with the item or can't really provide conclusive evidence to support their theory....
