Concerns About Aquapod Shipping Quality How Did It Arrive? Options

Hi,
I was already to order my Aquapod 24g Cube when I read on various forums from people who started to receive their ordered Aquapods. They were reporting cracked tanks and poorly packaged materials inside the box. How do they claim to package their tanks??? Please respond with your experience if you have/or are receiving one of these delivered? (Nothing is great if it doesn't work!) Thanks.

i received mine and yes it was cracked, and yes it was poorly packaged....

Was It Double Boxed?? Did It Have A Styrofoam Barrier Around It At All? Was There Any Part Of The Tank That Was Not Buffered From The Outside Box?

the tank was in a box, then the shipping box was around it. no peanuts or styrofoam lining between the 2 boxes or between the box and tank

Packaging was not great on mine either...I got the 12er. However, it is up and running and I am happy with it at this point in time...after I made some cutouts on the back to put in a heater!

what did u have to cut out?

I had to make a cutout on the back where the pump cord pokes comes out from behind the canopy. It was almost cutting into the cord whenever I opened it. Plus, I had no place for a heater cord. I cut that out as well.
