Hey Guys, Interested in your input...will a condy host a clown?
I've heard mixed opinions from various people mainly that their sting is too strong for clowns. My LFS says they will host but we all know what happens when you listen to them.
So, any one want to pitch in their 2 cents? And if they will host, what spp. of clown is best suited for them.
Thanks in advance,
R.

Condys Condylactus gigantea are not natural hosts to clownfish.
The ten species that are known to host clowns are;
Adhesive Sea Anemone Cryptodendrum adhaesivum
Bubble Tip Anemone Entacmaea quadricolor
Beaded Sea Anemone Heteractis aurora
Sebae Anemone Heteractis crispa
Magnificent Sea Anemone, Ritteri Anemone Heteractis magnifica
Delicate Sea Anemone Heteractis malu

Long Tentacle Anemone Macrodactyla doreensis

Giant Carpet Anemone Stichodactyla gigantea

Saddle Anemone Stichodactyla haddoni

Merten's Carpet Anemone Stichodactyla mertensi

Great info, thanks Spanko....do you know if the same goes for haitian pink tips (Condylactus passiflora)? I don't see it on the list so I'm assuming it's not a natural host. Thanks again
