confuse of algae

i have a lot of brown, some red and green algae, i assume in my live rock. and it is growing pretty past. what does hairy algae looks like, does it have a lot of hair? i'm really worried about this one. info pls

Can you get a picture?? Hair algae will be "hairy"... if it's hard & crusted then it's coralline algae. The brown if it's just coating the LR with no hairy growth then it's probable Ditoms.

I would recommand you getting a clean up crew. Let your lfs know your tank size so they can recommand the right amount of inverts or you can order it from this site. Also if you can go to your LFS and buy some ro water not using your tap water at home. Also this is a option you may use a uv system for your tank.
