PLEASE I NEED HELP CHOOSING A
COMPLETE SETUP,AFTER READING
NUMEROUS BOOKS AND SPEAKING TO
EXPERIENCED AQUARISTS HERE IN
THE U.K I THOUGHT I HAD A GOOD
IDEA WHICH WAY I WAS GOING!!
NOW AFTER READING AN ARTICLE
AND VISITING THE WEBSITE FOR
ECOSYSTEMS MIRACLE MUD I AM
BAFFLED..
CAN ANYBODY POINT ME IN THE
RIGHT DIRECTION AS NOBODY IN
THE UK KNOWS A THING ABOUT IT..
I SEE THERES A FEW OF YOU RUN
THESE SYSTEMS..ARE THEY AS GOOD
AS THEY CLAIM,CAN IT BE THAT EASY,
AND CAN THEY BE RECOMMENDED FOR THE BEGINNER...
AND HOW WOULD YOU GO ABOUT A DESIGN
FOR DIY SUMP..INCLUDING MIRACLE MUD.

alot of it good marketing don't be confused but don't belive everything you read. Miricle mud setups have failures and success like any other tank.= berlin/dsb. Alot of ppl use refugums with caulerpa for filtering and breeding pods and still use dsb or sand LR in there main tank. I would read more. i don't know about the uk, but look for a book
"THE NEW MARINE AQUARIUM"
by michael s paletta
if not there, try amazon.com this book was very helpful to us, after getting bad advice, and goes into step by step set up and selection, using the berlin method, which is basically using lr and a dsb, which seems to work well for anyone i have talked to so far(including me)
it will also help you to pick your first fishes too
