Considering breeding a pair of clowns

I've been thinking of making an addition to my frag tank system (100g total volume) and making a breeder tank and have it run in with my frag tank. I have a pair of clowns that are a pair, but not really bonded and no eggs or know if they are male/female so I'd probably get a mated pair if I go through with this.
Of course the site I want to check out is blocked at work and our TV that comes through the internet is broken so 12 hours (minus actual working) to kill and getting all kinds of ideas in my head

Anyone on here do it with success and any stories they care to share?

Yeah I read that thread last night and only made me want to breed worse lol... such cute little guys.
I wish I could get on another site from work that is dedicated to oranamental fish breeding but guess I'll have to do some looking on my nights off. From what I've seen I think it would be pretty easy to have grow out tanks attached to my frag tank system. The only pain I don't overly want to do is growing cultures although it's pretty easy but I have to step back at this point and think.. ok do I want continuously grow cultures to feed babies?
Right now that would be my hold up is doing cultures -- although a feller sort of local reefer might start breeding again.
Then the other problem too is getting a mated pair of clowns :)

Yea, I have been looking into culturing, thinking I might eventually have a use for it. And Bam! yesterday I discovered I had eggs.
Don't think I have time to start a culture now(as I am not set up and would still have to order starter culture) so I am looking into some options. Will let you know if any of them work out.
If not, I will set up cultures for the next batch.

Yeah defintately have to get those going first... and would be great coral and fish food just in general :)

the only cultures necessary are the rotifers and they are easy. I use a commercial refriferated phytoplankton to feed the rotifers with. Its actually very simple to culture rotifers.
i have raised a few thousand Onyx percs, a few hunred Ocellaris, a few fire clowns, a few orange skunks, a few tomatos, a few saddlebacks, and more...
Larval tanks should be kept separate from the DT. I lett all of my clowns spawn on a tile, and then move the tile to a 5 gal tank to hatch in.. After they hatch, i only keep 1 -2 gallon of water in that 5 gallon tank, with daily water changes. I add a small sponge filter at 3-4 weeks and by now keeping 3-5 gal of water.. Move them to a grow out tank at about 2 months..

Yes parents stay where they are and the eggs are moved to a hatching tank ( some people capture the larva from the main tank after hatch). No, I never put the babies back with the parents
