controllable powerheads

I have a 40 gallon breeder with a ghost overflow and 2 return lines one on each side of overflow.
I'm currently using 2 hydor 1150's one on each side of tank. To me they seem alittle much.
I want something I can control with either an apex or its own controller.
Would a pair of echotech's mp10's work? or a pair of mp40's?
was also looking at the jabeo powerheads and also tunze powerheads.
but not sure if I need a single one or a pair of powerheads.
any input is greatly appreciated.

Jabeo makes a very good power head. Flow is the life blood of a sw tank. Basically you will want no dead spots in the tank.
