I have a 75 gallon reef setup that has been going for about 8 months. I have been wanting to give an aggresive setup a try. My tank suffered severe casualties during hurricane frances, but seems to be stabilizing now. While my coral population is low. I thought I might make the switch. I have a 29 gallon that I would like to put upstairs and keep my clowns in.
That leaves a few softies, some sponges, cleaner crew, 75 pounds of live rock, 50 lbs of live sand, an oriole angelfish, redlip blenny, royal gramma, and a mandarin dragonnette downstairs.
I figured I would start the new tank upstairs with water from downstairs, but I don't know what to put where. As far as the rest of the livestock goes.
In the new setup downstairs I would like to do a tang of somesort, a dwarf lion, a puffer, and if I have enough room I have always wanted a trigger, I understand that may be overdoing it with the trigger.
Should I spilt up the live rock between the 2 tanks? What about the live sand and fish? Can any go in the aggresive setup besides the angel?
Thanks alot for any advice you could give.
