Well im planning on doing a refugium and need a few tips. I have a 25 gallon sump and I want to convert it to a refugium, what might I need?

1. Some sort of light. A low wattage one will work.
2. Macro Algae, Chaeto, Halameda, or Caulerpa
3. Some like to have sand or miracle mud as a base.
4. Some pieces of live rock rubble help.
You have a choice of going with more live rock rubble or more macro algae depending on what you would like to accomplish. for example, if you want to have a place for pods to grow and be extra filtration then you would want more LR rubble. If you want to have a place where some pods will grow and be able to help keep nitrates down then go with more macro algae.
