I was raised on a farm and hunting and fishing were simply part of my life. But since I have been keeping fish, I simply have lost my appetite for anything seafood related. I don't think "I can't eat those cute little fishies and crabs", it's just the desire to eat anything that lives in the water has left me. I still eat a little when my wife cooks it or wants to go eat at a sea food restaurant, but I have completely lost the taste for it.

Quite interesting...
A lot of people ask me if I like fish/seafood even though I keep them, and the answer is yes, completely. I lovvvvve seafood!
And I love catching it myself too!

Hmm, I live in North Louisiana. While fishing is not a big part of the culture up here by any means, we still like to eat seafood. I especially like shrimp and crab gumbo or crawfish etoufee. A lot of people around these parts consider catfish seafood... but I don't. I like eating seafood. I don't look at my aquarium and ask myself... "Hmm, I wonder how my yellow tang and cleaner shrimp would taste..." lol

apparently i am the only person in the South that dont know how to cook craw fish.a customer told me today she has a kiddie pool she puts water in and adds salt.mixes it up and then puts the live craw fish in it for a half hour.this makes them lets say clean themselves out.then she pulls them out and boils them in water with cajun seasoning.
