Cookie Recipe Suggestions for Picky Eater

So I've been dating my boyfriend for a little less than 3 months and I'm not quite sure what to get him for valentines. He doesn't like presents that aren't useful and he's pretty picky in general, so I think I'm going to bake him cookies. Does anyone have any awesome recipes for someone who is also really picky. It's hard to go wrong w/plain old chocolate chip, I know, but I'd rather do something a bit more creative if it's pretty much guaranteed to be a hit.

First off I think that is a great idea. Now as a picky eater AND someone who loves cookies I have to admit I do have a favorite cookie recipe. It is the plain old Nestle Chocolate Chip cookie recipe, without the nuts. However I like them a little undercooked and then when they are cooling you put them in the freezer. The next day you can thaw them out and the Chocolate Chips are nice and snappy.

But find out if he likes them that way or straight out of the oven. It is hard to go wrong with Chocolate Chip Cookies.......

Glad to hear you like the idea. It may seem cliche, but who doesnt' like cookies! My friend told me that it's tradition to give your bf chocolate in japan for valetines, so she's baking her bf something too.

what about the peanut cookies with the hershey kisses on them? i made the mistake of making those once for a party and now i have to make them every time i leave the house!

No matter what you do just make sure that your baking soda and baking powder are fresh. Nothing sorrier than looking at a cookie tray of flat thin cookies that have all merged into one flat cookie looking thing
