Cool Looking Plant

I am in Florida on vacation and I found a cool looking plant in the water. It is kind of reddish. Is it OK to put plants you find in your aquarium?

depends. if its a more of a marsh grass or something, it may not need to be fully submerged, in which case it would die. it may also take over your tank if it does good. hard to say. most likely a kelp of some type though. your fish might eat it.
