ithink what fixxed can believe is that you dont know that feeding gold fish to a trigger is very bad for its health......it will shorten its life span....and feeding it 4 a day is extremely bad........since i believe you genuinely did not know.....my suggestion is scrapp the brine go with seafood gumbo you can find it at the local grocer this provide several kinds of seafood that will provide nutrion for the trigger....

You can also feed it frozen uncooked shrimp, crab, fish, etc. Triggers will eat anything. Umm thaw it out a bit before giving it to the trigger. If you want to see it kill something, try ghost shrimp. Almost all pet stores that sell any kind of fish have them.

Can't believe anyone employed at any fish store other than maybe Walmart would suggest such a thing.
I've been told by many and practice feeding a variety of frozen and dry foods, then occasionally toss in a live crawdead or snails. I feed every other day, and drop food in piece by piece so that the fish (all large aggressive) see it and have an opportunity to eat it before it hits bottom or the overflow. Never goldfish.

Feeding fresh water fish to a saltwater fish, is a bad idea, they can develop a fatty liver disease, which is not good, if you want to feed them fish, silversides are good, prawn and krill are also good. Stay away from brine shrimp, its basically just a shell, mysis shrimp is better,
