Coolest Looking Sea Slug!

Just checked out my LFS and they have the COOLEST looking sea slug. He was just hanging out on the live rock in a nano tank. I would love to get one, but wanted to do a background check on him first.
I will describe him as best I can. He is about 1" long, black body with 2 electric blue colored stripes down his back and a bit of orange on his head. He is not poisonous to touch, but is poisonnous if something eats him.
I've done some searching, but haven't come up with much. Does anyone know anything about them?
Thanks!

Except for the orange it sounds like my Blue Velvet Nudibranches that I used to have.

Yes, looks very similar to that, but I'm pretty sure it had orange on it if I remember correctly. And it only had two blue stripes, one down each side. He had two "feelers" that were quite distinct too.
They have it at Aquatic Gardens in Saginaw. Finally made it there to pick up my sand. Do you ever get over that way Thomas?

You'll have to check it out if you're in the area.
It's got to be related to the blue velvet nudibranch somewhere along the line I would guess.
Are they easy to keep? I would really like to try one unless I found out any negatives.

Well it definatly needs to be identified first, in the case of the BVN it only eats flatworms.
Other nudibranches have similar specific diets. They also like to kill themselves in powerheads, overflows and anything else they can get into.
Life spans aren't that long either in many cases.

AlohaMI and Thomas 712 I am a student at CMU, so I am kind of curious what stores you people go to? I only know of about four within reasonable driving distance.

Baboon, the only one I have been to is Aquatic Gardens in Saginaw. It is nice, but they don't have a lot of selection for Salt Water. I know there is also a store in Midland called Pier 701, but I have not made it there yet.
You probably know about both of those, so what other stores do you know about?
My sister goes to Central too! :cheer: So I might have to pay her a visit if there are any in Mt. Pleasant.

I work in Mt. Pleasant on Sat, Sun and Mon. For quick supplies I'll use the two LFS named, for most other stuff I mail order. Is there anything in Mt. Pleasant area?

Unfortunately there are not any saltwater stores in Mt. Pleasant. I go Pier 701 a lot but I also go to Preuss' Pets in East Lansing. They have a really big store. I also know that there are a lot, and I mean a lot of nice stores in the metro detroit area. I mostly mail order though and I know swf.com is a great place to order from and has healthy animals.
