Cooling water under halides

What is the best way to keep water cool under halides? My tank is in an airconditoned room that receives limited sun exposure, so it is a naturally cool room- will this be enough? I hesitate to purchase a chiller because the room itself kind of makes it impossible. Of course if this is the only option, than I guess that is what I will have to do.

I have 2 computer fans in the hood. My tank is at max 82 with 2 MH bulbs. Room temperature is around 75 deg.

I have 4 computer fans, 2 blowing on each bulb. The room is always 70-75 degrees and the water is always 80-81.

What is the best tempiture to have water in a reef? I though it was lower the 82. Is 82 an ok temp? what is the max?

To answer your question you must do some research. Find out where your most sensitive animals are from and look at average sea temperatures there.
For example, Animals from the northern Red Sea should thrive if temperatures around 86F.
Animals from the Fiji Reefs would do better at 78F.
