I was looking at getting a madrian dragonet for my fish tank- 55 gallon FOWLR 2 clowns, 3 damsels, 1 sixline wrasse... I had a scooter bennie before and it lived for several weeks before starving to death (I assume because it was so skinny)... If I ordered one and 200 copepods, would I be o.k.? If not, 400?

The general census will be no way!, you need like 100lbs live rock minimum, 1yr or more established tank and most importantly a refugium to continously replenish your pod supply, just throwing 400 in there will definately not be enough if they dont establish themselves.

I would think the best way to do this would be to set up a fuge and then get the 200 pods.Pour the pods into the fuge and let the 200 pods breed for a while and then maybe get the mandarin. In general you would need a very established tank for a mandarin. Also the sixline will eat many of the pods, so it may be tough to do. I have a 55 with a seperate 15 fuge and 15 sump. My tank is about a yr. old and I have had my fuge going for 6 months. I am just about to get a mandarin for my tank.

Anything that resembles a madrian that I could get? My tank is definately not full yet.. People on here are way too liberal. Thanks for the opinions. Probably just go with a different fish.
