copepods question

after reading from the message board i have determined that i have a copepod infestation
. my tank is a 120 gal fish only with no LR. 1 lion fish, 1 yellow tang, 1 tigger jaw fish, and 3 lrg hermit crabs. all readings are good with a slight ammonia spike, i think this is a false reading due to either ammonia gas or amquel use. my question is, who is going to eat the copepods or will they get tired of making my tank not look so good. i know they are a good thing but i have way to much time and effort into creating the perfect enviroment for the fish and for the viewer of the fish. it is clear to me that i have way more copepods in my tank than any other postings i've read.

Copepods are usually introduced on live rock. Since you have a fish only tank, how was it introduced?

that is a question i was hoping someone could tell me. perhaps i have miss diagnosed the tiny white insects all over the glass, the move much like fleas. they seemed to show up around the time all of my diatom algae disappeared.

Bag them up and send them my way. My manderin is hungry. No seriously, they should not bother anything. I would leave them in there and let the tank run natural.

Dragonette goby or Mandarin Goby are a beautiful fish and will be happy to eat them, however once they are gone it might be tough getting it to eat anything but live food.
Six Line Wrasse eat them too. They also eat parasites that may infect your other fish, ick for example.
They will eat other foods once the pods are all gone unlike gobies.
They are however aggresive towards other and fish that also eat PODs. And would probably kill a dragonette if kept in the same tank.
I am currently stuck on which one I want more. I like the fact that the wrasse can help kill ick and other parasites but I love to colors of a mandarin.
