Copper Banded Butterfly

I think thats the name of the fish. I just purchased him on Sunday and I also have another butterfly I believe his name is long nose somthing. The longnose is attacking the other butterfly and his tail is almost gone. You can tell he is suffering and scared shitless. Should I put him in a holding area and bring him back or let this happen naturally? Any ideas? I hate to loose a new fish!!

I would remove the long nose for a few days and rearrange a few things then try putting him back in the tank to see how he acts.

Yes,that may be why he is being aggressive.He sounds like he is being territorial but if you remove him and rearrange some rock and then give him a few days then add him back he may not be aggressive anymore.
