i hear ya there.. what really gets me, is i know the damage they can do and every time they get around my corals, they shrink up.. he finally found that spot on the left side that he likes and he doesn't bother anything which is good. that sucks about yours though, i always like seeing my new additions to the tank. my pistol shrimp and goby never come out

well thank ya much. i'm afraid i won't be doing much to the tank as far as adding corals go for a while though. gotta get the cash and since my car is in the garage and WILL be expensive, i have to wait =( on top of that i'm deploying in april so i won't even be around

so a quick update... got a lot of things recently. the most important is the MH lighting!! =D 14k 150w. looks really good! i also have some new corals and got rid of some things.. hope yall enjoy! and sorry i post so many different posts for the pictures, i can't figure out another way to do it

Did the pistol and goby come as a matched set - and what kind of pistol is it?
I've got the same goby and was hoping to get it to pal up w/ a pistol down the road. OTOH, with no burrowing buddy in the tank, my goby is out all the time...

thank you both for the comments! actually i bought the goby, then turned back around about 2 weeks later and bought the pistol shrimp ( he's a tiger pistol shrimp ) they are really cool to watch and they never leave each other. it took them all of about 2 hours to find each other in the tank lol. but yea, i have to agree with you, once they start burrowing, it's hard to see them till you feed the tank.
