What does it mean my shrimp is turning Blue around the legs and pincher? Please help

Most likely he's happy. They do have some blue near their joints. Does he eat? Has he lost color?

He does eat and hasnt lost any color. I feed him Formula One Flakes and Frozen Brine Shrimp. Thanks for the information

that blue color means it's a female. if you can find one with green where yours has blue then that is a male. i've only seen one male in the last year being sold and i've looked.

yeah its fine mine is blue also
