Coral Banded Shrimp Hiding

Put Coral Banded Shrimp in tank Friday and as of last night he was still alive but never been out in the open, looked for over hour to find him hiding under rocks. Is this normal. description says they stay in open most of time, has he not acclimated well enough yet?

Mine hides alot until i feed the tank.

Mine only comes out at night.

Normal behavior. Feeding and after lights they are active.

yup,get some moonlights ,and then you can see just how active they really are.

Hi, My coral banded is constantly hiding he/she gets excited with a little seafood supreme frozen fish food

My CBS hides all day , usually in the same 2 places. You can "see" him but he only comes aout during feedings or at night.

mine stays hidden during the day. it only comes out at night or during feeding time.

I have had the same experience as everyone else with mine. Mostly a nocturnal critter, but will occasionally come out during feeding.
