I managed to take mine out at night. That was the only time he would come above my rocks. I just left a net in the water for a few days to "acclimate" him to it, then one night when he came out close to it, I snatched the evil shrimp up.

Thanks For All The Suggestions. I Think I'll Give The Net One A Try. I Do Have Other Cleaner Shrimp & A Peppermint One That Haven't Given Me Any Trouble. Has Anyone Tried One Of The Advertised Traps? If So What Would You Use As Bait?

Mantis Shrimp Trap I Think That Is What I Saw In A Catalog But They Don't Tell You What To Use As Bait. Have To Look Into That. If I Catch Something Else I'll Just But It Back Till I Get The Little B....

I'd like you to tell that to the CBS that is no longer a member of my tank. Believe me, I caught him with a net, and then gave the evil shrimp back to my Uncle's LFS. :joy: He was not a model citizen, thus he got banned.

I don't think Drea was saying "You can't catch him with a net" I think it was more of a question, a suggestion if you will. Put another way, I think they were saying "Can't you catch him with a net?"

The Little Critter Is Too Fast. He Actually Hides When He Sees Someone Near The Tank. Leaving The Net In The Tank & Checking Every So Often To See If He Is Near. Thought About Putting In A Little Bait Into The Net But Figured Everything Else Will Go For It Except The Smart Coral Banded Shrimp

I Have Placed 2 Nets Into The Tank Which I'm Leaving In At All Times. I Do Wait Till The Moonlights Go On Before I Start Looking. The Cbs Hangs Out Under The Rocks During The Day & Only Comes Out During Feeding & When Dark. Both Nets Are Pretty Large But He Has Very Long Antennas
