I really never had them personally, but what I heard is that they rip and nip open corals and anemone's to feed on the un-digested food. But again, I'm not an expert I just did some research for you :joy: , I never had them personally. But thats what they are known for. Who knows there could be some rarities where it wont damage any coral or anemone. You really can't tell. Not all of them are the same in agressiveness.

Ya, they can eat up some stuff if there isnt enough room and/or they are extremely hungry. I have a CBS and a Condy, and the Condy is on the right side of the tank, and the CBS has a cave on the left side. I introduced the CBS to other side on purpose. Give em plenty of room between. Havent had a prob.

i had one in a 30 with a condi and although i love the thing it needs to be by himself. After i found his claw stuck in a still living fish i knew he was why my fish were healthy one day dead the next. He didnt tuch the condi just anything that went by his cave. He also killed my arrow crab and i miss her.
But please try your luck

Keep them well-fed and they won't tear anything up (unless it is a shrimp or crab that they can catch). I've had mine over a year and it has never hurt anything. It does occasionally pick at the coarls, but causes no damage.
