Coral banded shrip,

my gf surprised me with a mated pair of CBS, i have some soft coral coming in and some in the tank now. are they going to bother it
and the female came with a bunch of eggs and they were blueish, they are now fadding in color, is this bad, is she ok?

I have a coral banded shrimp and lots of soft corals...he hasn't bothered them at all.

The only thing my CB does that makes me nervous is pick the food off the top of my flower pot coral. Other then that, I have not noticed anything.

like the above said...u won't have problems as far as the shrimp attacking corals but they are little thieves at times and can take food from certain kinds of corals and anemones. also as far as the eggs go, if memory serves me, the eggs are one color when first laid under her tail and when they are about to hatch turn another color. i wouldn't worry about it though cause even if they hatch they will be food for other animals in your tank.
