Well I wouldn't say mine got along, My coral banded set limits in the tank that the cleaner learnd not to go pass. All was fine. But the coral banded didn't go out and attack them.
they will co-exist in a big enough system But I wouldnt say they will ever "get along" lets just say they'll move into their own places and not invite each other over for coffee
I would say around a 75 gallon, It has to be big enough for them to go do their daily duties with out running into each other, or set up their own boundries and east still have enough territory of their own.
I just got a CBS...How often do they come out...Mine will come out and grab some rubble or otherthings and retreat back beind the rockwork...Poor thing I didnt notice it until I got home...He is missing a Claw Arm
I have one of each in my 80 gallon and have no issues. Each one stays on his own end of the tank and they only come out to feed. THe Cleaner shrimp seems to come out more than the Coral Banded. But, i guess to answer your question, in a big enough tank they should be fine...mine are
coral banded will win every time. Mine was hanging by his claw on the gill of my picasso trigger when he first moved in. My coral banded is quiet agressive normally doesnt move much unless someone enters his space. Don't sacrifice your cleaners.
Sadly, I had to give up on the idea of the CB shrimp. They are really cool looking, but I bought two cleaners instead...I didn't want to have a massacare on my hands! Thanks for all the advice everyone!
