Ok two questions,
1 can this be done, I have a 135 with plenty of rock, will the two fight or is that enough room for them?
2. Off of that subject, I have a green brittle starfish, at an LFS the other day I was told that this is actually a rather agressive starfish, I have lost a few smaller fish that seem to have just disappeared, could this have been the culpret?

Yes... and yes... :)
I think both of those fish would be OK in a tank your size.
And the brittle star could definitely be the culprit. They usually attack when the fish bunker down for the night.

Possibly...and yup.
It may be possible to keep both the coral beauty and the flame...depending on the temperment of the fish. I have heard of a few cases where its worked in a larger tank...but a lot of times they will fight until one is gone.
The green brittle has been reported to feast on small fish and may be the culprit.

I don't know, my LFS owner thinks that they ( the coral beauty and the flame) look too much alike and will fight. This is the same store and owner that has said that he has seen a lot of flame angelfish and lemonpeel angelfish get along. He runs the largest fish store in Houston and has many years experience. I had always read that the pygmy angelfish will fight each other, but when I saw a flame angel in a small tank with the lemonpeel angel at this store, I brought the lemonpeel home and put it in my ninety with the flame angelfish. They are ok together, just a little squabbeling every now and then with no dammaged fins. If you do try any combination, I would put them in to the large tank at the same time. I think you may need to quarentine them in seperate tanks. What a hassle. I would try the lemonpeel with the flame or maybe the coral beauty. They are really a pretty bright yellow with blue eye rings. Mine looks like she is wearing blue eyeshadow so I named her Maybelline. The flame angel is named Sunkist.

To the first question: probably
I have both in a 75 gallon, I had the coral beauty first and the first day the CB spent a good deal of time pushing the flame angel around. After re-arranging some territory and 24 hours they became buddies. Note: During the first 24 hours there was some bullying and chasing but none of it was of the damage inflicting type. So it's very possible it will work and I know some others on the board have done it as well. I think the biggest factor is the individual personalities of the fish.
