Can I keep a coral beauty angelfish in my 29gallon tank without any problems? I have 45lb of LR, 1 firefish goby, 1 percula clown, 1 sebae clown and green star polyps. I am planning to get rid of one of the clowns. Will my tank be overstocked with the angelfish?
They don't get to big so if you give it enough hiding places and enough room to swim and don't overstock the tank it should be fine. Usually minimum tank requirements for a CB is 30 gallons so your right about there. I have a 3 inch one in my 65 and she has more then enough room so get a smaller one and you'll be fine.
all right, sounds good. One more thing, I currently have a firefish goby, one false percula and one sebea clown. With the coral beauty, I think I will be overstocked so which one should I get rid of?
One of the clowns i suppose. They are both nice clowns so i guess it's down to who you like more. If you care about people looking at your tank then probaly the nemo lookalike will be best and attract more people. Personally keep the false percula but the other clown is a good looking fish too.
well yes and no, if they were acclimated at the same time and have gotten along so far you may be in the clear, i know the seabea is more expensive of the two but then the "nemo" factor washes, so maybe the seabea on credit somewhere?
