Coral Beauty developing sickness

I noticed today that my new coral beauty is developing white dots along the top side of his body and I'm concerned it's ick. i don't currently have a quarantine tank, but i plan on getting one set up tomorrow. is there a huge problem with him being in the tank with my other fish for a day more (3 blue-green chromis and 3 domino damsels). What are the main requirements for a quarantine tank? I have a power head, salt, a prism protein skimmer, and a heater. He's eating healthily and seems active, but I'm concerned.
Currently, he's starting to develop very tiny white dots, no more than a millimeter at most. There's quite a few, maybe 20. I just noticed them today, so maybe as little as 4 hours of showing symptoms, as many as 12. Along with the stated fish earlier, there is also live rock and sand in the tank. I feed the fish bio-blend (staple diet small marine food), dalphia, and formula one. He was my latest purchase and I put him in the tank two days ago. He was only at the LFS for two days upon my purchase, however. I don't have exact perameters right now, but I should be able to post them tomorrow hopefully.

The problem is, that if it is ich, all fish have now been exposed and all need to be treated. See if you can get a positive ID on the ich before proceeding. Do you have the ability to post a picture? There are examples of ich in the Diseased Fish Thread located at the top of the Disease Forum.

It looked like the pictures in that thread, but I'll attempt to snap a photo. He likes to stay as far away from the camera as possible.

just an update: I just noticed he only has one white spot visible now. It's definitely faded overnight.

And that is a typical symptom of ich, fading spots, that return even worse than before. How do you plan to treat the situation? Do you have live rock in your display?

I do have live rock and I honestly have no planned treatment yet. Reading through your thread, copper seems a good treatment but I'm going to go discuss at the LFS. I'm going to set up a paralel tank for water changes and QT today or tomorrow hopefully.

As Beth stated, all of your fish have been exposed to ich and they ALL have to be treated. You could treat with copper but that will not solve the problem of ich being in your display. Your display will have to remain fishless for 6 weeks. Being that you have six weeks you should realy treat using hyposalinity. How much LR, LS, and inverts do you have?

40 pounds LR, 60 pounds LS, and 3 snails. I haven't seen any return of Ich so far and I think it might have just been stress. I'm keeping a close eye on all fish for any signs, but so far no one looks sickly.

Ich is a parasite. It is NOT caused by stress. Ich is in your system. Get a qt up and running before it is too late for your fish.

okay, I'm setting up a QT today. How should I go about treating them? All I have is about a 10-15 gallon tank for the seven fish. What about the snails? Do I pull them too? And will this kill off my live rock and sand?

Does anyone have AIM that can talk me through some stuff? I just found a basically dead domino damsel who had lost most of his color and was on his side hidden in the rocks. I'm in the middle of setting up a QT, but the water has to settle for it to be useful. I'm on my knees here. AIM sn is aedeos

okay, my ammonia and nitrites seem high, so I have 20 gallons of water preparing for a water change hopefully tomorrow. I doubt the damsel will be able to make it, but I hope I can save everyone else. I'll be using the QT tank's water, so that won't be set up in time to get rid of ich, but it's the best I can do I fear.
