Coral Beauty has a whole in the head.

between the eyes and a little above is a small whole. The fish seems healthy otherwise.
Would this be the same as the parasite that afflicts oscars so often? Is it treatable? This is such a perfect fish when we got it. I have had the fish for about 2 weeks.
thanks in advance

Describe what you mean by a hole in the head. Is this an open wound or is it a wasting away of the body surface leaving a whitish spot exposed? As if the scale surface is rubbed off exposing the flesh beneath?

I guess it looks like a wound, but I don't know where it would have come from. His tankmates are a blue damsel and a threadfin butterfly.
There is also an arrow crab, but it hardly come out from his spot.
thanks for replying :)

the fish now has two smaller spots in place of the first.
What is HLLE?
Tests of the water .05 ammonia, 0 nitrate, 0 nitrite, pH is 8.
I think the ammonia is from a red aglae problem that is dying off.
There was copper in the tank about 3 years ago when it was fresh water but it has since been emptied, cleaned and setup twice.
No ground probe.
It has been over a month since a water change. I have 15 gallons ready for tomorrow.
I am not very happy with the test kit LFS has set me up with, can you make a suggestion?
