I have a Coral Beauty and wondered if i could add a clam to my tank? Would the Coral nip at the mantle? Give me a %. Also i use a smart - lite, is this enough light for the clam to thrive. 55 Gallon reef tank.
Coral Beauty, as most angelfishes, will very often nip clam mantles. As delicate as clams are, you do not want ANY possible damage to it, as it will likely cause it to stress and die. I would not suggest keeping any angel with any clam. HTH
