coral beauty wont eat

it only eats things off my LR its always pecking at the LR and some algae on the glass. i put some seaweed and lettuce on a suction clamp in the tank but the coral beauty wont touch it.

How long have you had it? Have you tried feeding it frozen or pellet food?

How did you aclimate it? There have been times when I was brand new to salt water when I did a lowsy job aclimating new fish and that shocked the them and then it wouldn't eat.
You may also want to try to spark its appetite with some garlic. Fish love it and it's good for their immune system. Kent sells garlic extract but it's outrageously expensive. I just use the juice from that diced garlic that you can get in the glass jars at the super market.

only about 4-5 days. its eating things off the LR. should i try flake food?

i would try flake or some rods food veggie it had kelp and garlic and other things in it.

tried flake food and it ate! thanks for the help

Mine loves Formula Two flake and LR algae, but won't touch anything in the clamp, so don't worry.
