I've been looking at numerous pictures of coral beauties and I'm wondering for those of you that have them, do they look more blue or more purple? A lot of the pictures I've seen are blue but there is one at one of the lfs that is more purple. Just wondering what you've seen.

I had one that went carpet surfing a few months ago. It was dark purple and very bright orange. Beautiful fish. All of the ones I have seen are purple some have more purple and less orange while some have more orange and less purple.

I just got one about 2 weeks ago, and its just beautifull!!! Hard to get a good pic. though hes always bobbibg in and out of the rock work. Heres a pic of him though, there really much prettier thouhg in person. Todd p.s.. high Scooby!!!!!

I really love the coloration of coral beauties, I'm just really wanting some blue in the color scheme of the fish I'm wanting. I have a royal gramma and will be getting 2 perc clowns this weekend so in a few weeks I will be getting my last fish because I'm thinking 5 fish might be pushing it a little too much. I need something reef safe and I'd really like to have a dwarf angel. Any suggestions?

Dwarfs are really pretty, i like the litte bi-color myself, but im not sure what else you might like, maybe a purple pseudochromis, there pretty cool, and reef safe. just look thru all the fish , thats what i did, and when u find one you like read about them, and see if there reef safe. good luck todd

I have a small coral beauty, it's about an inch and a half at this point and I've had it for 3 months or so. It's very dark blue around the outside, with a red-orange middle. My grandma thinks it's purple or indigo, but I say it's more of a navy color. I guess it just depends on the way your eyes see it lol.

mine is similar to the one above in the middle, a little more purple toward the outside and has a really florescent blue trim around his outside, very beautiful fish, my favorite in my tank in looks
