I bought a coral beauty yesterday and today when I looked at my tank my yellow toadstool only had some of hit little "prongs" or "fingers" out was it picking on my toadstool?

Don't make any judgement just yet. It is possible that it is one of those days when it retracts its tentacles. Unless it looks like it has been ripped off then you might suspect the coral beauty.
My leather has tiny tentacles like toadstool and sometimes it comes out, sometimes it doesn't. So watch your coral beauty for the next couple of days and if it really picks, take him out.

we've had our Coral Beauty for a while now and he never seems to touch any of the corals... my guess is your toadstool is just having a retracting day... 
hope everything goes back to normal..
