I have a 14 gallon biocube with frogspawn, mushrooms, hammer, zoas, toadstool, encrusting gorgonian, and the coral that i posted a picture of for an id. I was told it was a red lobo, but ive never actually heard of them before?
Anyways, my question is should i be dosing anything for my corals such as phytoplankton? I have 48 watts of PC and my calcium is about 400.
And can someone give me a for sure id on this coral? ps sorry for the bad pic, i took it with my iphone. Its a much brighter red in person.

Could be Lobophyllia. Almost looks like a large Caulastrea. What is the diameter of those heads on it?
None of the corals you mentioned can eat phytoplankton. I would suggest minced seafood, Mysis Shrimp or Cyclop-Eeze.

Oh ok thanks for the food tip!
And I would say the two largest heads in the middle are around an inch or so. I got it $15 at a frag trade so I figured it was a pretty good deal.
