Looks nice, very helpfull. How about grouping certain spiecies in catagories i.e mushrooms, coral, anenomes, in alphabetical order.
Thats a good Idea!! I can break them up by group I think that will allow me to increase the size of the image and make it easier to read. Definitely needs cleaned up a little I just concentrated on copying MichaelTX's list since he was kind enough to gather the data together and as I typed it up I noticed a few duplicates. I will work on that as soon as I get home again probably not until after the 1st of May.

it was a cut and paste off of a text document that I have so trying to get the spaceing and some sort of list thing going on I am sure that I duplicated some.
It looks great though. i just dont have the programs on my computer to do that and cant see buying a program to do it for a once or twice useage LOL
Once you get it all done we can repost in another post and start a clean post for it.

Sounds good!! About 90% of my job uses a spreadsheet of some sort so I have a few copies laying around. You should check out "Open Office" it has about the same functionality as Microsoft's version and is free.
Thanks for putting the info together that was most of the work. Making it look pretty was simple, took me about 20 minutes to type it up took longer to get it to display right on the forum about an hour of playing with it to get it right but I'm still not happy with it. I don't have much time invested but I think it could be very helpful to others and I'll have to look at compiling some other information together like for different types of fish ect...

If I may I would like to make a suggestion.
I think adding the binomial nomenclature for the corals would be nice too, it would help out people in Iding their corals as often common names can get mixed around. plus it wouyld be a great thing for them to learn while picking up some quick facts about their corals.

Thanks for the list Mike, and for the redesign natclanwy!
Very helpful. I wish I had enough experience to add something to it though.

That is one of things I will be working on as soon as I can get home for more than a couple of days at a time.

I can't seem to stay home here lately thought I was done traveling for a while and got an emergency call to go to the big city of Wamsutter WY
over the holiday weekend just got back last night and now I have a mountain of paperwork to do so I am guessing it will be a couple of weeks before I can start working on it again.

I am somewhat limited with space because of the way I have to format this to get it on SWF.com but I may be able to add some of those things. Not sure when because of the amount of traveling I have been doing with my job but I will add it to my list of things to do.

what makes sun corals rank as difficult is it just becouse they have to be spot fed after the lights are out?
That is right. Because they are non-photosynthetic and need to be spot fed frequently makes them a very high maintenence coral that is beyond the ability of many reef keepers. Also because they need to be spot fed they are frequently in very rough shape at the LFS and it takes alot of dedication to nurse them back to health.

That could be a new project in the future.
