coral frag question

I got an orange ricordea polyp which was attached to a small pebble of LR and I want to get it onto a piece of my LR that I have in my tank. Is it possible to pull the coral off of the piece of rock or if I set it next to the piece of rock I want it on, will it eventually attach to that rock also. And It has 2 mouths, does this mean it is splitting? Thanks

You can place the polyp on the small rock next to the one you want it to attach to....it will attach by itself. You can also use superglue marine gel and glue it where you want it. I wouldn't pull it off the rock it's attached to..... just my opinion. :thinking:
If it has 2 mouths it's probably getting ready to split.
