Coral Frags

I'm completely ignorant when it comes to corals. When you order a coral and it comes on a reef plug, what are you supposed to do with it? How do you get started with corals? Which ones would be best for a beginner... Help! Thank you!

The reef plugs are very convenient.

You can start the coral low in the tank and slowly set it higher each week until you think it's in the ideal place. You want to do this if the store you purchased it from doesn't have intense lighting in order to acclimate the coral to your lighting. Once you find the correct position you can glue the plug in place or break the plug apart and glue the coral directly to a rock.

As Bang stated start low and move up your corals will "tell" you where they like it best
