u wont notice it pulsing if theres to much flow on it..i love the way it looks but man that thing can spread like wild fire...

There is indeed a pulsing and a non-pulsing xenia...You may have the non-pulsing variety...But hey you can trade it in to your LFS for a couple bucks in credit every now and then as it grows

this is why i dont understand when people complain about it growing to fast... might as well get some store credit... going to be speading plenty there in this hobby anyhoo

if you make ur own LR and let it get covered you should be able to get a good price out of it... i mean, what do you think a 5lbs rock full would be worth???

I have had both types. one is the short pink pulsing and the other is elongated non pulsing.

+1 on the testing of iodine.
i dont understand why people think they need to dose it. if you do regular water changes, then u shouldnt have to dose it usually. ive never dosed it once and to be honest i dont think i would want too haha
