coral ID please

we were given this piece of coral and are wondering what kind it is so we can read about it. the lady said it was some kind of finger or something like that. she said the exact name i just cannot remember..
this is the best pic i could get its at the top.. that is one of my snails at the bottom

I would need a better picture or it opened more to be sure. It appears to be a Nepthea but I'm only 50% confident with that ID.
