picked this up yesterday from LFS
guys there had just gotten a few chunks in from a guys tank who was going back to fresh
they told me it was pretty rare
looks like some kind of green finger leather
i'll try to find out from them, but closed mondays

Yup,also called Devil's Hand.

Does it look something like this ?
Christmas tree coral. But the one you pictured has thicker arms.

You can email Rob at Coralsandbar.com. It may be the rare camarillo coral. But i probably would go with the finger leather too. I have one almost identicle only mine is now standing up and opening.
